Iron Roost was born in 2012. It all started with Linnaea DiNallo’s vision to create something different—a destination where waffles rule and creativity counts. DiNallo’s background as a designer and her personal passion for food combined to create a most delicious atmosphere. Quality food and good ol’ fashioned hospitality in a uniquely stylish space—that’s the Iron Roost. Oh, and about the name: Iron like the waffle iron. And Roost, a place where birdies, locals, and travelers alike come to sit awhile and enjoy good food and conversation.

THE SPACE

The 45-seat restaurant is located in the heart of the village of Ballston Spa. Natural lighting, brick, and industrial details create a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy a quick bite to eat on our one-of-a-kind handmade stools or sit and relax with friends at a table. Across from the building, Wiswall Park provides the perfect spot for local events—including the summer farmers market and the town’s annual Christmas tree lighting by Santa.

CHEF FRANK DALUISIO

As a chef, Frank Daluisio believes in quality, creativity and execution. When he joined Iron Roost, he brought more than 20 years of experience in top local restaurants. Chef Daluisio’s vision brings a sophisticated but homegrown slant to the restaurant’s waffle-centered menu.
